On the corner of LMU's main buildings, the Atzinger has been the meeting point for professors and students since the late 1920s. Löwenbräu put it through a careful restoration in 2008, reopening it close to the original. Bavarian cooking is the spine; the menu does include Kaiserschmarrn and burgers as gentle modern detours.
