Munich's largest schnitzel — the Maxvorstadt classic since 1995
On the corner between TU München, the Pinakothek row and Königsplatz, Steinheil 16 has run since 1995 as the room every student, professor and visitor uses for the schnitzel that overhangs the plate. Pan-fried thick potato slices or fries, fresh salad, no decoration, no fuss — only the daily menu and the rotating exhibitions on the walls change.
Solo-friendly; no reservations, queue starts after 19:30. The right lunch on a Pinakothek day.
