Founded in 1886, Casa Otaegui is the oldest patisserie in Gipuzkoa and a Donostia institution for the pantxineta, the city's almond-and-cream puff pastry. The recently restored Narrika shop keeps its 19th-century detailing intact while still drawing daily queues. A coffee and a pantxineta here is one of San Sebastián's most genuine sweet rituals.

The pantxineta is the order; take it warm with a coffee standing up. One of several Otaegui addresses, but Narrika is the historic one.
