Katre is a small boutique hotel on İnönü Caddesi whose breakfast has quietly become the reference point locals cite when the subject of Alaçatı serpme comes up. Owner Figen runs the morning like a kitchen she answers for personally, choosing the cheeses and olives from producers she knows and putting up house preserves whose black-mulberry jam is the one regulars come back for. The vegetables arrive crisp and fragrant rather than decoratively piled, the eggs are cooked to order, and the spread reads as edited rather than padded for photographs. It is open to non-guests and worth the short walk off the bazaar line for a table that takes the day seriously.
