The 16e palace is the converted private residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte — a listed Monument Historique that holds Palace classification, Forbes Five-Star and a Michelin Two-Key rating. Of 100 rooms and suites, the majority face the Eiffel Tower; the Imperial Suite has a clear-sight view of the lattice from a marble terrace. Shang Palace remains the only Michelin-starred Cantonese restaurant in France; Les Salons du Prince serves the formal French menu in the original Empire-style salons. CHI The Spa runs a 17-meter pool, four treatment rooms and a hammam. Afternoon tea in La Bauhinia, under the original glass dome, books a month out.
