Kreuzberg
Dutch-chef-led modern-European on Lausitzer Straße — fixed five-course menu.
Kreuzberg's Chinese-modern small-plate room — Wrangelstraße, 2010.
Long March Canteen is the Chinese-modern small-plate room that opened on Wrangelstraße in Kreuzberg in 2010 — dim sum at lunch, regional-Chinese small plates for dinner (Sichuan, Cantonese, Hunan, the menu organised by region rather than by dish format), the kitchen visible behind the bar. The room is dark and loud; the format is the modern-Chinese reading the audience reads as London Hutong or Hong Kong Yardbird in conviction. No Michelin star, but the kitchen carries the strongest non-fusion Chinese-modern register in Berlin.
Order the dim sum selection plus two regional plates per person. Group sizes of four to six read the menu best. Book one week ahead.
