Banu Maga's Bazen is an art, design and culinary atelier rather than a straightforward boutique, gathering original work from Turkish designers — hats, jewellery, sculpture, photography, home objects and olive products — under one roof. What sets it apart is the programming: it hosts workshops and talks on art, design and the art of living, so the space behaves like a small creative house with a calendar. It draws the village's design crowd for the events as much as the shelves. A working studio, not a stockroom with a till.
