From the right table inside you look across the indoor manège; from the upstairs terrace, onto the open ring, the stables and the Englischer Garten. A flagship Schwabing gastronomic address in the 1950s, a celebrity hangout in the 1970s, and one of the rare survivors that still operate.
Editor's Tip
Sunday brunch (10:00-13:00) is one of Munich's best-positioned mornings. Upstairs terrace is reservation-priority in summer.
