The Michelin star arrived quickly and has held; the cooking is classically grounded but lighter, more legible than the male-chef temple style — fewer foams, more ingredient. The room itself is a wood-panelled Schwabing-edge town house at the north tip of the English Garden, technically just over the Bogenhausen line but easier to read as the eastern axis of upper-Schwabing.

Tasting menu only at dinner; the wine pairing is genuinely thought-through (not the usual default). Walk back through the English Garden afterwards — the room sits five minutes from the Eisbach. Note hood: this is Schwabing on a strict reading, included here because it serves the same Bogenhausen-axis crowd that Käfer does.
