The Michelin star has been continuous since 2000 — a quiet, almost stubborn record in a city where Italian fine-dining tends to churn. The dining room is hushed, ivory-and-gold, the kind of place where a couple at the next table is celebrating a 40th anniversary without making it everyone's business. Pasta is the heart — handmade, restrained, the sauce always serving the noodle.
