Hôtel Madame Rêve

The Louvre central post office (1888, open 24/7 from inception until 2015) reopened in 2022 as Laurent Taïeb's hotel — 82 rooms and suites, a penthouse, and three F&B venues spread across an upper floor with planted terraces. Behind the original Beaux-Arts façade, Taïeb ran black-and-white tile, brushed brass, and full-height windows that look out onto the rooftops, Eiffel and Sacré-Cœur. ROOF is the rooftop terrace bar; Kitchen by Madame Rêve does contemporary French at lunch under glass; La Plume runs the dinner role with chef Benjamin Six. Walking distance from Bourse de Commerce, Forum des Halles and the Louvre.
