Mediterranean cooking with a Tuileries terrace at the foot of the Louvre
Basque auberge on Quai Saint-Exupéry — Pierre Oteiza Kintoa pork, pintxos, the Trinquet Village Seine-edge terrace.
L'Ami Jean covered the Basque-French register from the 7e — the Stéphane Jégo room. La Kontxa fills the second axis: the Pays-Basque-proper, the Spanish-Basque overlap with pintxos, Pierre Oteiza Kintoa pig, garlic razor clams, shell marinière, grilled prawns. The room sits on Quai Saint-Exupéry in the Trinquet Village, on the Seine's right bank, with a 40-seat shaded-summer / heated-winter terrace — one of the rare 16e tables that opens directly onto the river. Wine list runs Basque, Spanish and French in parallel. Pudlowski covered, the audience uses it for the Sunday family lunch and the post-Bois-de-Boulogne late-afternoon table.
Terrace is the draw — book Quai-side in summer.
