The red-awning palace on avenue Montaigne is Paris haute couture made architecture — Dorchester Collection's flagship, palace-classified since 2012, sitting opposite the Christian Dior maison. The 200 rooms and 54 suites span Louis XV, Art Deco and contemporary categories; book the Eiffel Tower view (the suites facing rue Bocaccio look straight at the lattice). Downstairs, Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée serves haute French in the Salon Marble dining room. Le Bar Plaza Athénée and Galerie des Gobelins anchor the social hours, and the Dior Institut is the brand's first European spa.
