Balıkçı Hasan opened in 1985 on the Güvercinlik shore road and has worked the same low waterside room since — a measured Aegean kitchen on grilled octopus, calamari, sea bass and the season's vegetables, with a meze list that reads as Mediterranean rather than tourist-village. Where Mandalya is the village's special-occasion table, Hasan is the standing weeknight one. Forty years in the same hands.
The seaward edge of the room is the move; ask for the warm meze selection and the day's grilled octopus. Quieter than Mandalya on summer Saturdays — call by lunchtime for an evening table.
