Miços opened on Tilkicik Cove in 1993 as a small pansiyon-with-fish-grill before there was a paved road in, and three decades later the same family still run the room. The cove-side jetty seats a few dozen on planks built straight over the water, the meze counter is built around what came in that morning, and the kitchen treats balık-ekmek and a kilo of çipura with the same care. A meyhane night in the proper Aegean register, not a costume of one.
Editor's Tip
Ask for the jetty tables on the inner side of the cove — the wind drops at sunset there. The grilled barbun with a half-bottle of Yedi Bilgeler Roussanne is the local order.
