A Gümüşlük classic since 1990, fish-grill room on the Yalı Mevkii with the same logic three decades on
Okyanus has worked the Yalı Mevkii corner of Gümüşlük since 1990 and reads its three-decade run plainly: the boats land, the chalkboard updates, the kitchen grills. The fish card carries the full Aegean register — sea bass, sea bream, grouper, red mullet, plus the shellfish standards of shrimp, squid and octopus — alongside the cold-meze tray and salads that the village rooms keep in common. There is no rebranded narrative here, no fusion turn; the room trades on being the third generation that has not changed the working principle, in a stretch of waterfront where many of the iskele rooms have rebooted twice in the same span.
Open since 1990; the chalkboard catch list is the menu. Lagos (grouper) sis kebabı and grilled red mullet are the standing house signatures; book a waterfront table for sunset.
