Aquarium Balık Restaurant

Aquarium has held its waterfront corner of the Gümüşlük beach since 1992, when İlknur and Cengiz Özbaşaran opened the room as a family business. It runs across two floors — sixty seats indoors, ninety on the sand outside — and the day-boat catch arrives at the door rather than going through a wholesaler. The New York Times flagged it as one of the most distinguished places to eat fish in Gümüşlük, and the family still works the floor. The menu carries a steady Mediterranean line plus a few Asian-fusion turns that have been on the card for two decades; the value of the room is the sandy beach, the Tavşan Adası sightline, and the sunset that closes the bay.
