Aquarium Balık Restaurant
Gümüşlük
İlknur and Cengiz Özbaşaran's family fish house on the Gümüşlük beach since 1992, recommended in New York Times
One of Gümüşlük's oldest tables, 160 seats with a direct sightline to Tavşan Adası and the sunset
Myndos Restaurant — known locally as Cumhur'un Yeri after the village name carried through the family — is one of the longest-running addresses in Gümüşlük, operated by Murat Özyanık. The room sits on one of the village's most scenic perches, with a direct view across to Tavşan Adası (Asar Adası), Bayrak Tepe, and the sunset window the whole peninsula reserves for. After a full renovation in 2019–2020 the kitchen reopened with capacity for 160 across two terraces; the menu runs fish and seafood from the day's catch, the standard Aegean meze tray, salads from the kitchen garden, and an open-buffet breakfast on weekend mornings. The attached Myndos Apart adds renovated rooms for guests who want to walk back to their bed.
One of the village's oldest tables; the weekend open buffet kahvaltı is a Gümüşlük institution. Time the booking for one hour before sunset and ask for the Tavşan Adası sightline. Murat Özyanık usually walks the room — say hello.
