Brasserie La Lorraine
Batignolles & Étoile
1919 Place des Ternes brasserie — Laura Gonzalez interior, three-time MOF écailler.
1883 Belle Époque seafood brasserie — Rostang family, daily-port-sourced fish.
Dessirier opened on Place du Maréchal Juin in 1883 and has run as a fish-and-seafood brasserie ever since; Michel Rostang and his daughters took it over and keep chef Olivier Fontaine sourcing daily from artisan fishermen in Normandy, Brittany and the Vendée. The Belle Époque dining room was renovated in 2010 without losing its mirrors, paintings or oyster counter. The menu reads classical — fish-and-mussel soup with rouille, lobster club sandwich, wild sea bass, sole meunière — at a 17e price-point that beats the 8e equivalents. For an Istanbul visitor who wants the seafood brasserie experience without a tourist queue, Dessirier is the trade.
Cult-institution exception (1883, 142 years). Plateau is the order — also the lobster club.
