Villa Amalfi im Bogenhauser Hof

Built in 1825 and listed as a protected historic building, the Bogenhauser Hof reopened in 2023 after a two-year restoration as Villa Amalfi — operators Karl Rieder and Kian Moussavi swapped the old Alpine register for upscale Italian cooking shaped by the Amalfi coast. The kitchen leans light and aromatic: handmade pasta, fresh seafood, basil and Amalfi lemons used like seasoning rather than garnish, plus the in-house bar program. The walled courtyard terrace at the back is the secret — mature, almost-rural, ten minutes from the Bavarian parliament. Main dining room plus four themed private rooms for the political-Munich and BMW-board crowds that have always used the address.
