Vits is the room that started Munich's specialty-coffee scene before specialty coffee was a category in Germany — Christian Vits has been roasting on Rumfordstraße since 2007 with a Probat drum, single-origin focus, seasonal rotation. The retro-styled cafe in front of the roastery is small and quiet; you get filter, espresso, and a short food menu, plus beans by the bag to take home.
