Gault&Millau Türkiye Best Seafood 2024-2025-2026, the Istanbul fish house's chef-driven summer outpost on Sess Türkbükü pier.
Arnavutköy Balıkçısı's Türkbükü branch is the summer extension of the year-round Arnavutköy and Yeniköy fish houses in Istanbul, sharing the Sess Türkbükü pier compound and running a chef-driven seafood concept since the 2023 reset. The Gault&Millau Türkiye guide named the Türkbükü room Best Seafood Restaurant for three consecutive years (2024, 2025, 2026), placing it as the editorial reference for what an Istanbul-grade balık lokantası does on the peninsula. The kitchen's signature is the çiğ bar: ginger and Urfa-isot-spiced çiğ barbun and kılıç pastırma carrying the chef's seasoning, alongside a meze line built from local Ortakent and Gümüşlük producers and a wine cellar weighted toward Aegean small-batch labels. Mostly Istanbul second-home crowd, working dinners and weekend long lunches; the upper terrace separates into Sess after 23:00.
Çiğ bar is the chef's signature, barbun and kılıç pastırma are the right opener. Book the front-row pier tables a week ahead for July-August weekends; the upper terrace continues as Sess after 23:00 if you want to extend the night.
