Kuytu Bahçe
Bitez
A four-decare mandarin orchard in old Bitez where a young couple set the Aegean breakfast bar
Gündoğan's village house breakfast since 1999, named for the wood-burning kuzine in the back garden
Quzine takes its name from the old kuzine stove in the garden; the same oven still turns out börek every morning. The kitchen has worked from the same Gündoğan house since 1999 and most of the herbs, vegetables and fruit on the table came through the back garden's mandarin trees. Aegean serpme done right, house jams, herbed cheese, courgette flowers, hot börek, and the format has held its measure for over twenty years. Open year-round.
Order the bergamot-mandarin jam and the saç böreği fresh from the kuzine. Reserve weekends in season; the garden tables go first.
