Beste tijd om te bezoeken
De beste tijd om de rooftopbars van Istanbul te bezoeken is rond zonsondergang. Meestal tussen 17.00 en 20.00 uur kun je zowel het daglicht als de opkomende stadslichten meemaken. In de zomermaanden (mei-september) zijn de rooftopterrassen het levendigst.
Reserveringstips
Voor populaire rooftoplocaties, vooral in het weekend en in de zomer, raden we ten zeerste aan om vooraf te reserveren. Boek minstens 1-2 dagen van tevoren voor tafels bij zonsondergang. Tafels met uitzicht op de Bosporus vereisen mogelijk een eerdere reservering.
Kledingvoorschrift
De meeste hoogwaardige rooftopbars in Istanbul hanteren een smart casual kledingvoorschrift. Korte broeken, slippers en sneakers worden over het algemeen niet toegelaten. Het is aan te raden een licht jasje mee te nemen voor de avonduren, want rooftopterrassen kunnen winderig zijn.
