K Plus Gıda has run the only proper lokum production on the Bodrum peninsula since 2011, working the Müskebi citrus belt directly: Bodrum mandalina, satsuma, lemon, all cooked in copper kazan and cut by hand. The Ortakent shop on Müskebi Caddesi is the source — buy the year's batch, the matching mandarin cologne and the satsuma Turkish coffee, then watch the kazans through the workshop window. The peninsula's nearest answer to Hacı Bekir, but rooted in a fruit only this coast grows.
Ask for the satsuma lokum from the most recent kazan — the mandarin oil dissipates within weeks. The mandalina cologne and the satsuma-laced Turkish coffee make the strongest gift box.
