Birds Bodrum

Birds is the Bodrum edition of the Moscow restaurant-club concept by the Vasilchuk Bros. (the 354 group), a Pan-Asian kitchen and full dinner-show running at the seaward end of Yalıkavak Marina. The cooking sits with head chef Konstantin Shatrov and chef Alexander Raylyan: shared plates pulled from the Sichuan, Cantonese and Vietnamese repertoire, raw and fired in the same shift, paired with the high-decoration cocktail programme of bar director Peter Sorokovov. The evening choreography is deliberate: a pianist opens the room around aperitif hour, the show numbers stack from late afternoon onwards, the ice-bar vodka room sits behind a swing-for-adults installation, and the late shift turns into a club register that runs until two or three in the morning. The crowd is the destination-evening crowd that books one marina headline room one night and Birds the next, same dress code, same marina-promenade arrival, different room temperament.
