Mimoza Bodrum
Gümüşlük
Gümüşlük's defining seafood house, where Istanbul tables run two seatings on August nights
The original Sait Yılmaz seafood room on Neyzen Tevfik; the Bodrum kitchen that built the Galataport and Yalıkavak branches
Sait Yılmaz opened the first Sait room on Neyzen Tevfik in 1993 with a few tables on the marina road, and the Bodrum address became the kitchen the Yalıkavak Marina and Galataport branches grew out of. Yılmaz himself passed in 2023; the family kept the room and the lineage. The format is the same it has always been: a buz tezgâh with the day's catch laid out, an Ege meze list led by deniz börülcesi and fava, an unfussy room with white linen and the marina across the road. Michelin Guide Türkiye lists it in its Bodrum selection.
Walk to the ice counter and pick the fish; the kitchen weighs it in front of you. The deniz börülcesi and the dry-cured palamut are the two mezes the family's older customers always start with.
