Tayfun Bey and Gül Hanım have run Dükkan from a single stone room on Adliye Sokak since the early 2010s. The format is unpretentious in a way Adliye Sokak's other addresses have stopped being: a meze tray that comes to the table, a chalkboard with the day's fish, a small back garden for the warm evenings, and a wine list that holds at twenty bottles. The smoked herring (füme ringa) and the grilled octopus are the two dishes the regulars order on entry; the rest follows what the kitchen worked with that morning.
