Köşem Balık
Ortakent
The mother-and-son Aegean fish house that has held the Yahşi-Ortakent waterfront since the marina was built
Long-standing rakı and fish house on Yahşi shore, catch of the day on ice, large dining room.
Ayana runs as one of the larger rakı-balık houses on Yahşi shore, set along the Müskebi Caddesi strip: a grill cook behind the line, the day's catch laid out on ice, a traditional meze list (deniz börülcesi, lakerda, fava, grilled octopus) and a wide dining room that spills toward the beach. It is the kind of place Ortakent locals and longtime Bodrum summer residents have used together for years, built on volume and continuity rather than spectacle. Open from late May through mid-October until midnight, it works for family tables, larger groups and the old-style long fish dinner. One of the four or five established fish houses along the Ortakent-Yahşi coast, it sits next door to Köşem.
Buzdaki tezgâhtan günün balığını seçin ve fiyatı kalkmadan teyit edin, evin adabı. Cumartesi geceleri için cuma günü aramak yeterli; Köşem dolduysa Ayana ikinci hamledir.
