Mavi Bar
Bodrum
The 1983 stone-house jazz bar where Yeni Türkü and Erkan Oğur played before anyone had heard of them
An old-Bodrum back-alley bar on Banka Sokak — rock and 80s, signature mandarin Sandoz
Adamik tucks into the Banka Sokak enclave behind the main strip and has worked the same room since the 1980s: low ceilings, dim lamps, a bar built around a rock-and-80s record library and a famously stiff house cocktail called Sandoz, mixed with Bodrum mandarins. The crowd is older Bodrum regulars and Istanbullu second-home owners; bouncers and ticket-buying lines are not part of the format. After-midnight is when the room turns on.
Walk in after midnight; ask for the Sandoz, served in a shaker and meant to be shared. The room reads as a backstreet bar, not a club — dress accordingly.
