| Last reviewed: May 2026 Körfez sits at the head of Cumhuriyet Caddesi and has done since 1992; the lineage goes further back to Uzun Ali's 1927 Lezzet Lokantası on the same corner, revived as Körfez Meyhane in the 1960s. Hasan Subaşıoğlu took over in 2015 and kept the rules: vinyl rock from the sixties through the nineties, a Sunday oldies-goldies night, a tangerine cocktail called Sandoz on the back of the card, beer and whiskey at a price the regulars still recognise. No live music; the records carry the room. It is the bar that taught Bodrum bar street what the genre was before the genre got crowded.

Sunday is the oldies-goldies night and the right night to come. Ask for the Sandoz cocktail — Bodrum tangerine, not from the printed list. Reservations only on special-event nights.
