Bitez
Naru and Dereköy Lokantası team's all-day bistro-bar on Adliye Caddesi, DJ programme on weekends.
Bitez village Mexican cantina from İrem Gürses, fire-grilled meats and handmade tortillas with a DJ programme.
El Fuego is the architect İrem Gürses's Mexican project on Adliye Caddesi, the sister operation to her Italian Il Mio Sogno next door. The kitchen reads as actually Mexican rather than gestured-at: handmade tortillas pressed in-house, charcoal-grilled meats, fresh guacamole, and a spice register that holds rather than collapsing into Anatolian compromise. The room is a single-story architectural piece with cacti and landscape detailing, and the evening programme runs cocktails and DJ sets that take the bay out of the standard Italian-or-meyhane rotation. The chapter holds El Fuego as the bay's most credible non-Aegean kitchen — a fixed exception in a peninsula that otherwise rewards local fish and zeytinyağlı.
Handmade tortillas and fire-grilled tacos are the marker plates; the cocktails carry the same fire register. DJ sets pick up after 22:00; the shuffleboard area is the right corner for a long table. Sister operation Il Mio Sogno is next door if the table wants to split.
