| Last reviewed: May 2026 İki Sandal works from a deliberately archival recipe book, Ottoman-era mezes, slow stews, fish handled the old way, and serves it in a two-storey house above Kumbahçe with the upper terrace looking out across Bodrum bay. The crowd is locals, the rakı list is real, and the kitchen has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand without softening either the menu or the volume.
Editor's Tip
Reserve the upper terrace; the ground floor is fine but you came for the bay. Let the maitre d' build the meze trolley and order whichever fish came in that morning. Closed Tuesdays.
