Asmalı Çardak Yalıkavak

Asmalı Çardak is the village-breakfast room set in an old Bodrum house along the Kayacık road that leads up out of Yalıkavak toward the abandoned Sandıma settlement. The room is the peninsula's reference for the serpme-kahvaltı grammar, the spread breakfast, and the calibration is properly local: three or four seasonal jams, two olive plates, hand-rolled pişi, börek, gözleme, fresh tomato and cucumber off the garden, cream, honey, the stuffed-zucchini-flower plate when the season carries it. The setting is the room's argument, mandarin and orange trees over the gazebo seating, the bougainvillea pulling shade over the stone wall, the temperature staying ten degrees below the Yalıkavak Marina noon. Single fixed price per cover, the spread arrives within minutes of sitting unless the guest specifies otherwise, the reservation pressure is real for Saturday and Sunday August. Eighteen kilometres from Bodrum-merkez, about a fifteen-minute drive from the Yalıkavak iskele.
