Türkbükü
Türkbükü's Armenian-Aegean table, family-run and quietly precise
Türkbükü's oldest fish house, on the iskele since 1997 and still in family hands
Atılay has held its Yalı Mevkii spot on the Türkbükü waterfront since 1997 and remains the bay's reference for what an Aegean balıkçı should look like: a long private jetty stepping into the water, twenty-odd cold mezes, the day's catch on ice. The Levrek Lokum is the registered house dish and a generation of summer regulars order it without consulting the menu.
Ask for an iskele table at the far end of the dock and start with the yoğurtlu çıtır. The Levrek Lokum is non-negotiable.
