Family-run beach hotel restaurant on Torba Bay — Mediterranean and Mexican kitchen under Chef Eduardo Luna
Casa Hermanas is the seafront restaurant inside the namesake boutique hotel, the rare Bodrum table where a Mexican kitchen sits next to a Mediterranean one with serious provenance. Chef Eduardo Luna — Puebla-born, trained alongside Alberto Ferruz at the two-star BonAmb in Spain — runs guacamole and tacos with the same care he brings to the day's grilled fish and Aegean salads. The hotel is a low-key family property on the Torba shore, with 36 suites and a tucked private beach; the restaurant runs both as the in-house room and as a stand-alone destination for the neighbourhood.
Chef Luna's guacamole is the order to start; the Pueblan mole and the day's grilled fish hold the centre of the menu. Beach-bar tables are the better seats at lunch, dining-room ones at dinner. Reserve direct through the hotel; the room is small.
